Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Sukhasan,  Madhepura


                         JNV Madhepura was established in the year 1994. Its foundation stone was laid by the then Minister of HRD., Govt of India, Mr S.R.Bomay in the premises of State Govt. Teachers' Training College and the chief guest on the occasion was the then Chief Minister of Bihar, Mr Laloo Prasad Yadav . This is situated almost eight Km apart from the district Head Quarter at Manahara, Sukhasan west of a historical place 'Singhewar Sthan' famous for Lord Shiva Temple. It is said that once ever in early century this place was used to be Maharshi Shringee Rishi's Place of Action. (Tapobhumi).

                                 It is a full-fledged Awasiya Vidyalaya under Patna Region of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti where Science stream (along with Computer Science & Bio-technology) and Commerce stream are taught at +2 level.
